Airport: LAX vs BUR

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the major airport hub with 9 terminals. You will find plenty of flight option and usually cheaper price. However, since it is a very busy airport, you may experience a long delay at check-in and security. We recommend people to arrive at the Bob Hope Airport (BUR) in Burbank which is closer to the conference hotel.  Plus, it is a smaller airport and not as busy as LAX, you will save a lot of hassle.

Car rental

If you would like to rent a car, San Gabriel Hilton has a special rate (15% off retail rates) with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Please mention that you are the guest with the San Gabriel Hilton for the conference and they will honor the discount.

Before renting a car, make sure that you have a driver license that is valid in the state of California.

Directions from LAX

• 1. Head south on Sepulveda Blvd (~0.7 mi)

  2. Take the I-105 E freeway (~12.6 mi)

  3. Take the I-710 N freeway toward Pasadena (~11.0 mi)

  4. Take the I-10 E freeway toward San Bernardino (~3.5 mi)

  5. Take the New Ave exit and head north (~0.7 mi)

  6. Turn right at Valley Blvd (~0.4 mi)

  7. Arrive at San Gabriel Hilton on your left hand side at 225 West Valley Blvd San Gabriel, CA 91776

Direction from BUR

• 1. Head southwest toward W Empire Ave (0.2 mi)

  2. Turn left at W Empire Ave (0.9 mi)

  3. Turn left at N Buena Vista St (0.4 mi)

  4. Take the 3rd right onto N San Fernando Blvd (0.5 mi)

  5. Take the ramp on the left onto I-5 S freeway (12.0 mi)

  6. Take the I-10 exit toward San Bernardino (0.7 mi)

  7. Merge onto San Bernardino Fwy (0.3 mi)

  8. Continue onto I-10 E freeway (5.7 mi)

  9. Take the New Ave exit and head north (~0.7 mi)

  10. Turn right at Valley Blvd (~0.4 mi)

  11. Arrive at San Gabriel Hilton on your left hand side at 225 West Valley Blvd San Gabriel, CA 91776
